- I'm a girl who was tossed from Nevada into Austin 3 years ago and I'm still trying to adjust. The political jargon of Texas can get a little crazy at times, hence the title of my blog. As for my ideology, I'm Socialism's biggest groupie. You would never know it though, since I don't go tooting my political horn all around town like some people do. My writing tends to have a sarcastic touch to it and I love humor, but I'll try to keep it down since this is for class. My educational goal is to get my PhD in Urban Planning and I want to work in public housing one day. My hobbies include crushing on George Stephanopoulos, hanging out with my min pin Betsey Johnson, my guinea pigs Einstein and Freud, and naming my pets after famous icons.
